Image rights

Photographs and video are taken at Mallorca Fashion Days throughout the three days. What is recorded, who may publish it and how to request the removal of an image.
Image capture
There is photography and filming on the runway, at the casting, during the training activities and at the editorial production sessions, in the event venues.
Images are captured by the event team and by accredited photographers and media. Filming areas are signposted, and there is no filming outside them.
Use of the images
The organiser may use them for the event’s communications: on the website, on its social media, in the partnership dossier and in communications for future editions.
Accredited media may use them for news purposes, under the conditions of press accreditation. Advertising use requires specific authorisation.
No other use is authorised, including the promotion of products or brands with photographs of the event.
People who appear in the images
Taking part does not imply automatic consent. Anyone who takes part as a model, designer or artist signs a specific authorisation stating the permitted uses of their images and for how long.
This authorisation can be withdrawn at any time by writing to tkc@mallorcafashiondays.com. Withdrawal applies to subsequent publications; material already printed or published by a media outlet cannot always be retrieved.
The presence of the public in general shots falls within the photographic reporting of a public event. If a person recognises themselves in an image and does not wish to appear, the image is removed, on request by email.
Minors
No image of a minor is published without the authorisation of their father, mother or guardian, signed before the event.
This authorisation is requested at registration, is separate from the minor’s own and can be withdrawn at any time through the same email address.
The same condition applies to the press: no accredited media outlet may publish the image of a minor without that authorisation.
Ownership of the photographs
The photographs and videos published on the website are the property of the organiser, who holds the rights of use granted by their authors.
Ownership of a photograph and the right to one’s own image are separate. Owning a photograph does not authorise publishing the image of a person who has not given their consent.
Requesting the removal of an image
Requests should be sent to tkc@mallorcafashiondays.com, stating where the image is and the reason. No reason needs to be given when the request is made by the person who appears in the image.
Requests are dealt with within a maximum of 30 days, and the image is also removed from the event’s social media.
